Portable, rapid acquisition system, providing GPS positioned data together with annotated geo-referenced digital images.

Captured images can have data overlays superimposed on individual frames. The items displayed can be amended to suit the client's needs. For example, a highway survey may include, position (lat/long/height), roughness, section ID, chainage.

What is Video Mapper?

Video Mapper is a portable system developed to meet the specific needs of a difficult highway data collection project for the Department of Public Works and Highways in the Philippines. The system had to work in terrain that varied from heavy city traffic to remote mountain and forest roads.

The GPS data is post processed and does not rely on the presence of a DGPS service. It is therefore a truly worldwide 'tool'.
